INFORMATION COLLECTION

Any personal information provided to PFERD Australia Pty Ltd will not be made available for commercial purposes. It will only be used for the primary purpose for which it was supplied. PFERD Australia Pty Ltd uses personal information to compile a mailing list for its own purposes and is not a list broker.

There are many ways we seek information from you. We might collect your information when you fill out a form with us, when you’ve given us a call, used our website or sent us an email.

We’ll only keep your information for as long as we require it for our purposes. We’re also required to keep some of your information for certain periods of time under the law, such as the Corporations Act for example. The accuracy and quality of personal information is governed by the accuracy and quality of the data supplied by our clients.

Most client data is stored on our computer files in secure premises. Data is backed up to guard against system failures and is overwritten regularly. In addition, all Staff must comply with the PFERD Australia Pty Ltd Security Agreement, which states that all data shall be used solely for the agreed purpose.

 

OPENNESS

The PFERD Australia Pty Ltd privacy policy will be made available to our clients on written request. Similarly, clients can request access to all information held by PFERD Australia Pty Ltd about that person.

 

ACCURACY

If personal information is found to be inaccurate it will be corrected as soon as the correct information is received.

 

ANONYMITY

PFERD Australia Pty Ltd will maintain the anonymity of an individual in a database except where identification is necessary for the purposes for which PFERD Australia Pty Ltd uses that information in accordance with the Privacy Act.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.

Links to other websites and any information collected by these sites are not covered by this privacy statement.

To ensure that we carry out your instructions accurately, to help improve our service and in the interest of security, we may monitor and/or record: (1) your telephone calls; and (2) customer activities on our site. All recordings are and shall remain our sole property.
