OUR GUARANTEE

In addition to all rights and remedies to which you may be entitled under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth) and any other relevant legislation, PFERD Australia warrants all air and electrical powered tools to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

The PFERD Australia guarantee does not cover all other PFERD products including files, burrs & hole saws, mounted points, bench grinding wheels, fine grinding and polishing tools, diamond & CBN tools, grinding & cut-off wheels as well as industrial power brushes that are designed and manufactured for a specific purpose. The guarantee does not cover products that have been used for purposes other than for its intended use, or that is misused, abused or subjected to normal wear and tear, or products which have not been correctly maintained.

Our liability under this manufacturer’s warranty is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was caused by defective workmanship or materials, and was not caused by or substantially contributed to by other factors, or circumstances beyond our control, including ( but not limited to ) defective installation, maintenance or repair, alteration or modification of the product in any manner not recommended by the manufacturer or any neglect, misuse, abuse, or improper or excessive use, or any use for a purpose not intended by the manufacturer.

In order to make a claim under this warranty, you will need to bring / return the product to the original point of purchase, along with proof of purchase (usually this will be a receipt) and, if applicable any documentary evidence. Any cost incurred by you in bringing the product to the point of purchase will be borne by you. PFERD Australia Pty Ltd will then, at our option in the case of a consumer purchase, it repair, replacement or refund is the consumers choice, either repair or replace the product, or refund money and take back the product.

The benefits conferred by this manufacturer’s warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth), and any other statutory rights to which you may already be entitled, and this warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify any such rights or remedies that are implied by law.

RETURNS POLICY

PFERD Australia is happy to exchange, provide store credit, or refund items in new, unused and original condition within 30 days from the date of your order. When returning items, all product/ticket swing tags and packaging must be returned undamaged with the goods in order for the goods to be restocked and resold. Return shipping costs will be refunded to you where the return is a result of our error.

When returning goods please include a copy of your receipt and the reason for the return, and, if you would like to make an exchange, please include the details of the new items you would like.

Please note, we cannot provide a refund if; you do not have proof of purchase from PFERD Australia Pty Ltd, the goods have been used, worn or tested, the goods have been damaged after you purchased them, or if you find the same item at a cheaper price somewhere else.
